Nevis Studios is proud to announce the creation of the Scotland Film Collaborative, a groundbreaking initiative designed to unite Scotland’s creative minds and provide a platform for filmmakers, writers, producers, directors, actors, and crew members to collaborate and bring their artistic visions to life—completely free of charge.
The Scotland Film Collaborative is a dedicated space where individuals, whether seasoned professionals or newcomers to the industry, can connect, share ideas, and work together to create exceptional projects. With a mission to foster a supportive and inclusive community, this initiative aims to showcase the incredible talent and creativity Scotland has to offer while helping participants build expertise, network, and pursue their passion.
Our Mission and Annual Goals
The Scotland Film Collaborative has set ambitious goals for 2025:
• Produce five short films, one commercial, and one feature-length movie annually.
• Distribute all projects through Nevis Studios at no cost to participants.
• Submit projects to film festivals worldwide to gain recognition, win awards, and promote Scotland’s creative talent on a global stage.

• All projects must be for collaborative purposes only (no paid roles).

Upcoming Projects
The collaborative is already gearing up for its first short film production, “Holding On.” Casting and crew calls are underway, and filming is scheduled to commence in March 2025.
